The short answer
Chauffeur prices are usually quoted in a way that makes comparison hard: a base rate, then a gratuity, then fuel, then taxes, then a minimum. The network publishes one all-in hourly figure for each vehicle class instead, so the number you read is the number you pay for the chauffeur’s time, before any pass-through costs such as tolls and parking.
In US dollars: $155 an hour for a Business sedan such as a Lexus ES, Cadillac CT5 or Cadillac Lyriq; $185 an hour for an SUV Business Class such as a Cadillac Escalade, Lincoln Navigator or GMC Yukon XL; $235 an hour for an SUV First Class such as an Escalade ESV, Navigator L or Yukon Denali; and $285 an hour for a first-class sedan, a Mercedes-Benz S-Class, BMW 7 Series or Genesis G90. A chauffeur for your own car is $95 an hour with a four-hour minimum in the city.
Hourly chauffeur rates in US dollars, all-in| USD, all-in | Business Sedan | First-Class Sedan | SUV Business Class | SUV First Class | Chauffeur only (your car) |
|---|
| Per hour, within the city | $155 | $285 | $185 | $235 | $95 (4-hour minimum) |
|---|
| Per hour, out of town (+50%) | $232.50 | $427.50 | $277.50 | $352.50 | $142.50 |
|---|
| 10-hour day, within the city | $1,550 | $2,850 | $1,850 | $2,350 | $950 |
|---|
| Each mile over 93 a day | $3 | $8 | $4 | $4 | Your car, not charged |

Prices in US dollars (USD). Taxes and 20% gratuity included. 93 miles a day included. Tolls, parking and in-car Wi-Fi are billed at actual cost. Out of town adds the chauffeur’s hotel and a flat $100 travel allowance.
What a chauffeur costs per month
Monthly prices are the hourly prices multiplied by the hours you reserve. There is no hidden reservation premium and no discount either. A 40-hour block suits someone who needs a chauffeur two or three days a week; 80 and 120 hours cover most working weeks; 220 hours is roughly ten hours a day for twenty-two working days, the practical definition of a full-time chauffeur.
Monthly chauffeur blocks in US dollars, all-in| Hours reserved a month | Business Sedan | First-Class Sedan | SUV Business Class | SUV First Class | Chauffeur only |
|---|
| 40 hours | $6,200 | $11,400 | $7,400 | $9,400 | $3,800 |
|---|
| 80 hours | $12,400 | $22,800 | $14,800 | $18,800 | $7,600 |
|---|
| 120 hours | $18,600 | $34,200 | $22,200 | $28,200 | $11,400 |
|---|
| 220 hours (about 10 h × 22 days) | $34,100 | $62,700 | $40,700 | $51,700 | $20,900 |
|---|
USD, within the home city, taxes and 20% gratuity included. Same hourly rates as a single booking — no reservation discount. Unused hours and miles do not roll over. Time beyond the block is billed at the same hourly rate.
What is included and what is not

- Extra: miles over 93 a day at $3 (Business sedan), $4 (either SUV) or $8 (first-class sedan)
- Extra, at actual cost: tolls, parking and in-car Wi-Fi
- Extra out of town: 50% on the hourly rate, plus the chauffeur’s hotel and a flat $100 travel allowance
Worked examples
A day of meetings in one city, eight hours in a Business sedan and 60 miles driven, costs 8 × $155 = $1,240 plus parking at cost. The same day in a first-class sedan is $2,280. A twelve-hour wedding day in an SUV First Class covering 140 miles costs 12 × $235 = $2,820, plus 47 extra miles at $4, or $188, for $3,008 before tolls.
A family that books a chauffeur to drive its own car for 80 hours a month pays $7,600. An executive who reserves a 120-hour SUV Business Class block pays $22,200 a month, and a day trip to another city within that month bills its out-of-town hours at $277.50 instead of $185, plus a $100 travel allowance and, if needed, the chauffeur’s hotel.
What moves the price
Five things change a chauffeur bill: the vehicle class, the number of hours, the miles beyond 93 a day, time spent outside the home city, and the pass-through costs a city imposes, such as tolls, congestion charges and parking. The rate does not change with demand, the weather or the time of night. Sprinters, Jet Sprinters, minicoaches and motorcoaches, Rolls-Royce, Maybach and Bentley cars and armored vehicles are priced job by job, because their availability and running costs vary too widely for a single published figure.
Hiring a chauffeur compared with employing one
Some households and companies consider employing a driver directly. The comparison is less obvious than it looks. An employed driver brings salary, payroll costs, benefits and the employer’s legal obligations; the vehicle has to be bought or leased, insured for business use, serviced and replaced; and someone has to cover holidays, sickness and the days when the driver leaves. Hiring through the network turns all of that into one hourly figure, with a relief chauffeur and a replacement vehicle arranged by the operator rather than by you.
For occasional use the comparison is even simpler: a few days a month on a 40-hour block, or ad-hoc short-term hire, costs a fraction of a full-time employee and a car standing idle in a garage.
How to keep the bill down without cutting corners
- Choose the smallest vehicle class that genuinely suits the day; the class sets the hourly rate
- Reserve a block slightly below your typical month; overtime costs the same per hour, unused hours do not come back
- Group meetings geographically so the car waits rather than crosses the city twice
- Plan out-of-town days deliberately; the +50% rate applies only to the hours outside the city
- Use a chauffeur for your own car when the household already owns the right vehicle, at $95 an hour
- Ask the desk to review a month’s statement with you; patterns are easier to see on paper
Why every price here is in US dollars
The network works through member operators in more than 200 countries and territories. Quoting the hire programmes in a single currency means a client with a car in London, Dubai and New York in the same quarter sees one consistent rate card, and a finance team can compare cities without exchange-rate arithmetic. Your confirmation states the amount in US dollars and the card or account it will be charged to.
