When it beats flying

Under four hours of driving, the door-to-door time of a chauffeured run usually beats a flight once check-in, security, the taxi at each end and the risk of a delay are counted — and the passenger works the whole way. For a group of three or four it also costs less than the fares.

Cross-border

Cross-border runs — Geneva to Chamonix, Vienna to Bratislava, San Diego to Tijuana, Singapore to Kuala Lumpur — are quoted with the operator’s permits and insurance confirmed for the destination country. Where an operator cannot cross, the desk hands over at the border to a member on the other side with one fare and one confirmation.
